Air Fryer Apple Pie Crescent Rolls
These Air Fryer Apple Pie Crescent Rolls are easier than apple pie! All you need is one apple, cinnamon sugar, and a pack of crescent rolls to make this easy and delicious air fryer treat, perfect for breakfast, dessert or an appetizer!

Ingredients
Instructions
- Step 1
In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon (and nutmeg/ginger if using) until no lumps remain. Cut the apple into 8 slices, then cut each slice into 3 smaller slices. Prep a work surface by laying out a large piece of parchment paper on the counter. Open the tube of dough and roll it out flat onto the parchment paper. Use a knife to cut the dough along the perforation marks, making 8 equal sized triangles. Pick up the dough triangles and arrange them so they are pointing away from you, and the thickest side is closest to you (this makes rolling easier).
- Step 2
Use a spoon to sprinkle a generous teaspoon of cinnamon sugar on to each dough triangle. Push it out to the edges and cover the entire surface – it’s okay if you accidentally go over the edge of the dough. Next, take 3 slices of apple and place them on a dough triangle, near the thickest edge. I like to arrange the apple slices in an overlapping triangle to get a bit more apple surface area. Repeat this process with each of the 8 dough triangles. One by one, fold the two corners closest to you up and over the apple, then use both hands to roll the apple up in the dough. Repeat with all 8 rolls. You can sprinkle excess cinnamon sugar on top of each roll if you’d like.
- Step 3
Line the air fryer basket with air fryer safe parchment paper (or cut a piece from a roll that fits into the bottom of your air fryer basket). I prefer to cook 4 rolls at a time for even cooking and best air flow, but if you have a larger air fryer, feel free to fit all 8 in at one time. Air fry at 325F for 8-9 minutes. Do not flip. The apple pie rolls are done when the outsides are golden brown and oozing gooey cinnamon sugar.
- Step 4
Using tongs, remove the apple pie rolls from the air fryer basket and place onto a cutting board or plate. For best results, flip the apple pie rolls on their sides and let them cool for 10 minutes. This keeps the bottoms from getting soggy or sticking to your surface. Once cooled, the cinnamon sugar is not so sticky and you can stack or plate the rolls more easily. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream! Store leftovers in an airtight container or silicone bag in the fridge for up to 5 days. I like to enjoy leftovers cold from the fridge!
