Add the cauliflower florets, and mix around to coat the cauliflower with the mixture.

Tips & Tricks (5)

  • Dry Your Florets Thoroughly 💧
Pat cauliflower florets completely dry with paper towels before coating—excess moisture prevents crisping and creates steam instead of that coveted golden crunch.
  • Use a Binding Agent 🥚
Lightly toss florets with a small amount of beaten egg white or aquafaba before adding dry ingredients—this creates a superior crispy coating that adheres perfectly in the air fryer.
  • Don't Skip the Preheat 🔥
Preheat your air fryer for 3-5 minutes at 400°F to ensure immediate crisping when florets enter, achieving restaurant-quality texture in just 12-15 minutes.
  • Single Layer Arrangement Matters 📐
Arrange florets in a single layer without overcrowding, leaving space between each piece—this allows hot air circulation for even, uniform crispiness on all sides.
  • Finish with Fresh Parmesan 🧀
Add finely grated Parmesan cheese in the final 2 minutes of cooking rather than at the start, so it melts beautifully and doesn't burn while maintaining its sharp, nutty flavor.
