Tips & Tricks (5)
- Break Pasta Into Optimal Pieces 🍝Break pasta into 1-2 inch pieces before air frying to ensure even cooking and maximum crunchiness without burning the smaller fragments.
- Dry Your Pasta Thoroughly 💧After boiling pasta until just al dente, drain and pat completely dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture, which prevents oil absorption and ensures superior crispness.
- Season Before Air Frying 🧄Toss pasta pieces with oil and seasonings (parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic salt) before placing in the air fryer rather than after, so flavors adhere properly during cooking.
- Single Layer for Golden Results ✨Arrange pasta in a single layer in your air fryer basket without overlapping, then shake the basket halfway through cooking at 350°F to ensure even, golden browning on all sides.
- Cool Before Serving for Extra Crunch 🎯Allow pasta chips to cool for 2-3 minutes on a paper towel after air frying to complete the crisping process and achieve that satisfying, snappy texture similar to traditional potato chips.
