Tips & Tricks (5)
- Uniform Cutting for Even Cooking ✂️Cut sweet potatoes into consistent 1/4-inch thick fries to ensure they cook evenly and crisp simultaneously, preventing some from burning while others remain soft.
- Dry Your Fries Thoroughly 🧻Pat cut sweet potatoes completely dry with paper towels after rinsing to remove excess moisture, which is essential for achieving that crispy exterior in the air fryer.
- Light Oil Coating is Key 🫒Use just 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil for the entire batch and toss gently—too much oil creates soggy fries, while too little prevents that golden-crispy finish.
- Pre-Season Before Air Frying 🧂Mix all seasonings (paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, sea salt) with the oil before coating the fries to ensure even flavor distribution throughout every bite.
- Shake Halfway Through 🌪️Open the air fryer basket at the 10-minute mark and shake or toss the fries to promote uniform crispiness and prevent them from sticking together.
