Instructions
1
|
Lay out each crescent roll on a clean flat surface.
2
|
In a bowl, mix together the butter and apple slices.
3
|
In another bowl, mix together the sugar + spices. Evenly divide the sugar mixture on top of the crescent rolls and press it down into the roll with your hand so that it really sticks.
4
|
Lay a buttered apple on the wide end of each roll and roll up the crescent roll as usual.
5
|
Place on a lined baking sheet. Brush the remaining butter that was in the apple bowl on top of each roll and sprinkle them with cane sugar + dash of cinnamon.
6
|
Bake at 375 for 12-14 minutes. ENJOY!
Notes
1
|
*you want these to be about 1/3 of an inch thick. I tested them with thicker slices and while it's still really good, the apples won't be all that soft.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pre-Cook Your Apples 🍎Sauté your diced apples in butter for 2-3 minutes before assembling to soften them slightly and prevent excess moisture from making the dough soggy during baking.
- Chill Dough Before Rolling 🧊Keep your crescent roll dough cold until the moment you use it; warm dough becomes sticky and difficult to work with, resulting in tears and uneven rolls.
- Toast Your Spice Blend 🌰Lightly toast the cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice together in a dry pan for 30 seconds before mixing with brown sugar to intensify their flavors and eliminate any staleness.
- Seal the Seams Properly 🔒Pinch and press the dough seams firmly closed after rolling to prevent the apple filling from leaking out during baking and ensure beautiful, intact crescent shapes.
- Egg Wash for Golden Finish ✨Brush your assembled rolls with a beaten egg wash before baking to achieve a professional golden-brown exterior and beautiful shine that looks bakery-quality.
