Instructions
1
|
Preheat the oven to 400℉.
2
|
Place the hashbrown patties in a single layer in a 13×9 baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes or until crispy and golden.
3
|
Meanwhile, prepare the Big Mac Sauce by adding all of the ingredients in a bowl and stirring until combined. Set aside.
4
|
In a large skillet over medium high heat, add the ground beef, diced onions and All Purpose Seasoning. Cook and crumble the beef with a spoon for 6-7 minutes or until the beef is no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat.
5
|
Stir Worcestershire sauce into the beef and cook for 1 minute longer.
6
|
Remove the beef from the heat and stir in ⅔ cups of the Big Mac Sauce and 1⅓ cups of the shredded cheese.
7
|
Transfer beef mixture to baking dish, spreading the mixture evenly over the cooked hashbrowns. Top with remaining shredded cheese and sesame seeds.
8
|
Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
9
|
Top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, chopped pickles and drizzle remaining Big Mac Sauce over top.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pre-Brown the Ground Beef for Depth 🍖Brown the ground beef thoroughly in a separate skillet before layering to render fat, develop a flavorful crust, and prevent a soggy casserole base.
- Crisp Hashbrowns Before Assembly 🥔Partially bake the frozen hashbrown patties for 10-12 minutes until golden before layering to ensure they stay crispy rather than steaming in the casserole.
- Make the Secret Sauce Ahead ⏰Whisk together mayo, mustard, relish, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce 30 minutes before cooking so flavors meld and mellow for a more cohesive Big Mac taste.
- Toast Sesame Seeds for Maximum Flavor 🌰Lightly toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes before topping the casserole to unlock their nutty flavor and prevent them from burning in the oven.
- Layer Lettuce and Pickles Last ✨Add fresh iceberg lettuce and dill pickle chips immediately after removing from the oven to preserve their crisp texture and bright flavors instead of wilting them during cooking.
