Instructions
1
|
Preheat the oven to 400℉.
2
|
Place the hashbrown patties in a single layer in a 13×9 baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes or until crispy and golden.
3
|
Meanwhile, prepare the Big Mac Sauce by adding all of the ingredients in a bowl and stirring until combined. Set aside.
4
|
In a large skillet over medium high heat, add the ground beef, diced onions and All Purpose Seasoning. Cook and crumble the beef with a spoon for 6-7 minutes or until the beef is no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat.
5
|
Stir Worcestershire sauce into the beef and cook for 1 minute longer.
6
|
Remove the beef from the heat and stir in ⅔ cups of the Big Mac Sauce and 1⅓ cups of the shredded cheese.
7
|
Transfer beef mixture to baking dish, spreading the mixture evenly over the cooked hashbrowns. Top with remaining shredded cheese and sesame seeds.
8
|
Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
9
|
Top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, chopped pickles and drizzle remaining Big Mac Sauce over top.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pre-crisp Your Hashbrowns 🥔Pan-fry the frozen hashbrown patties in butter for 2-3 minutes per side before layering to ensure maximum crispness that won't get soggy from the casserole moisture.
- Make Your Secret Sauce in Advance 🍔Combine mayo, Dijon mustard, relish, Worcestershire, vinegar, and a pinch of paprika 30 minutes ahead so flavors meld together, creating an authentic Big Mac taste that's more complex and balanced.
- Brown Your Beef Properly for Texture 🍖Break the ground beef into small, pea-sized pieces and let them sit undisturbed for 2-3 minutes in a hot skillet before stirring—this creates flavorful browned bits instead of steamed meat.
- Layer Strategically for Even Cooking 🧅Distribute seasoned ingredients (onion powder, garlic powder, all-purpose seasoning) between layers rather than mixing into meat, ensuring every bite has bold, consistent flavor throughout the casserole.
- Toast Sesame Seeds Before Topping ✨Lightly toast sesame seeds in a dry pan for 1-2 minutes before sprinkling on top during the final 5 minutes of baking to unlock their nutty flavor and prevent them from burning.
