I’ve committed to a little less booze right now — but that doesn’t mean my drinks have to be any less interesting. These Blood Orange Mockaritas take advantage of my favorite winter citrus, and they’re perfect for your game day party or to mix up and raise a glass with your Valentine.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces - blood orange juice oranges
  • 2 ounces - lime juice lime
  • 2 ounces - pineapple juice
  • 3 ounces - soda water
  •   - Coarse kosher salt

  1. Add ingredients to a glass and gently stir with a spoon to mix. Prepare 2 glasses with salt rim — rub squeezed lime around the rim of the glass and dip into a small plate of kosher salt.
  2. Fill glasses with ice and pour over mockaritas. Garnish with a slice of blood orange and serve!
