1/6
Chicken Alfredo Pasta
Instructions
1
Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water and drain.
2
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, and paprika.
3
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add seasoned chicken and cook, covered, until fully cooked through and golden on both sides. Remove and set aside.
4
In the same pan, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.
5
Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Season with the same seasoning blend used on the chicken.
6
Stir in cream cheese and whisk until smooth. Add grated Parmesan and stir until melted and creamy.
7
Add cooked pasta and a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce. Mix until evenly coated.
8
Slice the cooked chicken and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley. Serve warm.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Use Pasta Water as Sauce Thinner 💧Reserve 1 cup of starchy pasta water before draining; add it gradually to your Alfredo sauce to achieve the perfect creamy consistency without making it too thick or heavy.
- Temper the Cream Cheese Properly 🧈Cut cream cheese into small cubes and let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before adding to ensure it melts smoothly into the sauce without lumps or clumping.
- Pound Chicken Breasts Evenly 🔨Pound chicken to uniform ½-inch thickness using a meat mallet to ensure even cooking and prevent dry, overcooked edges while the center remains undercooked.
- Build Flavor with Blooming Spices 🌟Toast your dried basil, garlic powder, and onion powder in the butter for 30 seconds before adding cream to unlock deeper, more complex flavors throughout the sauce.
- Add Cheese Off Heat for Silkiness ✨Remove the sauce from heat before stirring in Parmesan cheese to prevent it from becoming grainy or separating; stir gently until fully incorporated for a luxuriously smooth finish.
