Tips & Tricks (5)
- Temper Chocolate Properly 🍫Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, to prevent seizing and achieve a smooth, glossy coating that sets beautifully.
- Work Quickly with Sprinkles ✨Add sprinkles immediately after dipping while the chocolate is still wet, as they won't adhere once the chocolate begins to set—work in batches for best results.
- Chill Before Serving ❄️Place dipped matzah on parchment paper and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes until the chocolate is fully set, ensuring a clean bite and preventing melting in hands.
- Dry Your Matzah First 🏜️Pat matzah crackers completely dry with paper towels before dipping to prevent moisture from interfering with chocolate adhesion and creating a crispy rather than soggy texture.
- Dip at the Right Angle 📐Hold matzah at a 45-degree angle when dipping and let excess chocolate drip off for 2-3 seconds to achieve an even, professional-looking coating without pooling.
