Tips & Tricks (5)
- Flatten for Even Cooking 🍞Use a rolling pin to gently flatten the bread after removing crusts, creating a thin, uniform surface that cooks evenly and rolls without cracking.
- Butter Distribution Secret 🧈Soften butter to room temperature and spread it thinly and evenly across the bread using an offset spatula to ensure consistent cinnamon flavor in every bite.
- Cinnamon Sugar Ratio 🤎Mix cinnamon with a small amount of sugar (1:2 ratio) before sprinkling to create a more concentrated, flavorful coating that won't clump or separate during cooking.
- Toast for Crispiness ✨Bake the pinwheels at 375°F for 8-10 minutes until golden brown for a crispy exterior while maintaining a soft, pillowy interior.
- Syrup Drizzle Timing 🍯Apply maple syrup or honey immediately after the pinwheels come out of the oven while they're still warm, allowing it to melt slightly and caramelize on the surface for enhanced flavor.
