Easy Horse Cookies
These adorable cookies are easy to make and one of my favorite horse party ideas! If you’re planning a horse-themed party, you must make this adorable (and easy) horse cookie recipes. It’s one of my favorite horse party ideas! These cute cookies come together quickly and are super adorable. They’re perfect if you need Kentucky Derby party recipes, too.
Ingredients
Instructions
- Step 1
Place a small amount of vanilla frosting on the back of a Nilla Wafer; Place Nilla Wafer on bottom half of a Milano cookie.
- Step 2
Place a small amount of vanilla frosting on the back of 2 eyes; Place eyes on the top end of the Milano cookie, about 1/4 of the distance between the top of the cookie and the Nilla Wafer.
- Step 3
Use the chocolate frosting to create a tuft of horse mane in the center of the top of the Milano cookie.
- Step 4
Use the vanilla frosting to create ears on either side of the tuft of mane on the top of the Milano cookie.
- Step 5
Use the colored gel frosting to draw an arced lined slightly above the Nilla Wafer to resemble the horse's reigns.
- Step 6
Use the black gel frosting to draw two nostrils and a mouth on the Nilla Wafer.
- Step 7
Repeat these steps for all remaining cookies.
- Step 8
All frosting to set before serving.
