Frozen Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bites
Anytime I can combine bananas, chocolate and peanut butter all in one bite, I am on board. Frozen Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bites are an easy to make snack for kids (and adults too)! Whether you’re making them as a healthy dessert, a kid-friendly snack, or just to use up some ripe bananas, these little bites check all the boxes! These frozen bites are ice-cold straight from the freezer! Perfect for cooling off on a hot day (though we happily eat them year-round!).

Ingredients
Instructions
- Step 1
Place 15 banana slices on a parchment lined baking sheet or a plate.
- Step 2
Top each banana with ½ teaspoon of peanut butter.
- Step 3
Top with another banana slice to make “sandwiches”.
- Step 4
Freeze the bananas for 1 hour or more.
- Step 5
Melt coconut oil and chocolate chips in a glass bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds-1 minute or a in small saucepan over low heat for 2-3 minutes or until completely smooth, stirring continuously. Allow the chocolate to come to room temperature, about 5 minutes.
- Step 6
Using a fork dip the peanut butter bananas in the chocolate until completely covered allowing the extra chocolate to drip off.
- Step 7
Place the chocolate covered bananas back on the parchment and freeze for an hour and up to 24 hours.
- Step 8
Place the frozen chocolate peanut butter banana bites in zipper bags on containers and store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
