Gooey Candy Bar Blondies

This gooey blondies recipe is perfect for using up leftover halloween candy! Add all of your favorites, from peanut butter cups to snickers to kitkats. Highly recommend adding more on top of the blondies right after they come out of the oven for the perfect amount of melty gooeyness!

Ingredients

  • 240 grams - all-purpose flour
  • ¾ tsp - baking powder
  • 1 tsp - kosher salt
  • 170 grams - unsalted butter
  • 213 grams - brown sugar
  • 100 grams - granulated sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 2 teaspoons - vanilla bean paste or extract
  • 170 grams - candy bars

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a 9" square pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a separate large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugars until fully combined.
  4. Mix in the eggs and vanilla.
  5. Add in the dry ingredients, and gently fold with a rubber spatula until just combined.
  6. Lastly, fold in the chopped candy bars.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth out the top with a rubber spatula.
  8. Bake the blondies for about 30 minutes until evenly golden on top and toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Once the blondies come out of the oven, immediately top with more candy bars as desired.
  10. Allow to cool completely in the pan.
  11. Lift the blondies from the pan, cut into 16 squares, and enjoy!
