Hamburger and Hash Brown Casserole
Instructions
1
Preheat oven to 350℉. Spray a 9×13 inch baking pan with a non stick cooking spray.
2
Add the ground beef, onions and minced garlic to a large skillet. Season with 1½ teaspoons All Purpose Seasoning Blend. Cook until beef is no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat from the beef.

4
Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the hash browns are golden and cooked through.
5
Remove the casserole from the oven, top with remaining cheese and baking for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Allow the casserole to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Brown the Beef Properly First 🍖Cook ground beef in a hot skillet until deeply browned and break it into small pieces for even texture and flavor distribution throughout the casserole.
- Thaw Hash Browns Slightly 🥔Let frozen hash browns sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before mixing to prevent clumping and ensure even cooking in the casserole.
- Layer for Maximum Flavor 🧅Create distinct layers with hash browns on bottom, seasoned beef in middle, and cheese on top to prevent mushiness and ensure crispy edges.
- Make-Ahead Freezing Secret ❄️Assemble the casserole unbaked, wrap tightly, and freeze up to 3 months—add 15 extra minutes to baking time when cooking from frozen for best results.
- Blend Sour Cream Smoothly 🥄Mix sour cream with milk before adding to prevent lumps and ensure a creamy, even sauce throughout the casserole.
