Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp - olive oil
  • 7 ounces - silken tofu
  • ½ cup - vegan sour cream
  • 2 - yellow onions
  • 1 pinch - salt
  • ½ tsp - garlic powder
  • ½ tsp - salt
  • Pepper
  • celery and chips

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add in the olive oil. Once hot, add in the onions and cook for 35 minutes, stirring every 5-10 minutes to avoid sticking. You want them to be a deep golden brown color. Once done, remove from the heat.
  2. In the bowl of a food processor, add in the tofu, garlic powder, salt, pepper and the sour cream. Process until silk smooth and then add in the caramelized onions. Pulse a few more times to lightly chop and combined the onions.
  3. Serve with celery and ENJOY!
  4. You can use regular sour cream as desired OR swap it for (vegan) mayo!
