Tips & Tricks (5)
- Sift for Silky Smoothness 🎯Sift together the cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and cornstarch before mixing to eliminate lumps and ensure a velvety texture when whisked with hot water.
- Toast the Cocoa Powder 🔥Lightly toast the unsweetened cocoa powder in a dry skillet over low heat for 1-2 minutes to deepen its flavor and reduce bitterness for a richer hot chocolate experience.
- Chop White Chocolate Finely ✨Pulse white chocolate chips in a food processor into fine pieces rather than leaving them whole—they'll dissolve more completely and distribute evenly throughout each cup.
- Store in Airtight Containers 🏺Keep your mix in glass mason jars with tight-sealing lids away from moisture and heat to preserve freshness for up to 3 months and prevent clumping from humidity.
- Layer Marshmallows Last 🍫Add mini marshmallows to the dry mix just before gifting or serving, as they absorb moisture over time; store them separately and fold in fresh ones for optimal texture and presentation.
