
Homemade Louie Dressing
This Homemade Louie Dressing will take your shrimp louie salad over the top! Louie dressing is reminiscent of Thousand Island dressing. Ingredients
- 1 cup - mayo
- 3 tablespoons - ketchup
- 2 tablespoons - chives
- 1 tbsp - Italian flat-leaf parsley
- 1 tbsp - fresh lemon juice
- 1 clove - garlic
- 1 tsp - Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp - capers
- ¼ tsp - prepared horseradish
- 1 tbsp - sweet pickle relish without liquid
- a pinch of salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients except for the pickle relish into the bowl of a food processor. Process until smooth, then taste and adjust the seasoning as necessary.
- Pour the dressing into a bowl and stir in the pickle relish. Add up to 1 tablespoon more if desired.
- Serve with your favorite salad and enjoy!
