These latte cookies are so warm and cozy! They have the look and feel of a thick sugar cookie but the flavor of a chai latte. These cookies take only 20 minutes total. They are made in one mixing bowl and require no dough chilling.

Instructions

First, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

Make sugar coating. Mix sugar coating ingredients together in a shallow bowl. Set aside.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, add cold butter and sugar. Mix on high for 2 to 3 minutes, until no clumps of butter remain.

Then, add in egg, egg yolk and vanilla. Stir to combine.

Add all remaining ingredients. Stir to combine.

Use a cookie scoop to scoop balls of dough. Place each ball of dough in sugar coating mixture. Roll around until completely covered.

Then place on baking sheet. Press down slightly on each ball of dough to create a cookie shape. Repeat for remaining dough.

Bake cookies for 10 to 11 minutes or until just barely set in the middle.

Finally, remove from oven. Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes on pan before removing.
