Instructions
1
Carefully, twist off the top of each Oreo cookie sandwich. You want to the filling to stay on one side of the cookie sandwich.
2
Draw a circle with green or blue gel frosting slightly larger than the M&M candy on half of the cookie halves that have the filling. This will be the “glue” that holds the candy in place.
3
Place M&M candies in the center of each gel frosting circle. Press lightly to ensure that the candy holds.
4
Use the red gel frosting to draw on “blood vessels”.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Chill Frosting for Precision 🧊Refrigerate your frosting for 15-20 minutes before piping to achieve clean, defined eyeball shapes and prevent the gel colors from bleeding into the base frosting.
- Separate Gel Colors in Batches 🎨Divide your frosting into separate bowls before adding gel coloring to avoid muddy mixed colors, allowing you to create distinct blue, green, and red irises with vibrant, true tones.
- Toast Oreos Lightly for Grip ✨Gently warm the Oreos in a 250°F oven for 2-3 minutes to slightly soften the chocolate, making them easier to apply to frosted cookies without crumbling or sliding.
- Strategic M&M Placement 🎯Place M&Ms while the frosting is still wet for secure adhesion, and position them slightly off-center within the colored iris to create a more realistic, menacing eyeball effect.
- Stabilize with Piping Bags 👁️Use piping bags with small round tips instead of spreaders to create consistent eyeball sizes and achieve professional-looking concentric circles of color for gallery-worthy presentation.
