Ingredients
- 9 ounces - ground beef
- 2 ½ cups - vegetable broth
- 1 - onion
- 1 clove - garlic
- 1 tbsp - tomato paste
- 1 ¼ cups - tomato puree or tomato juice
- 4 tablespoons - cream cheese
- 3 ½ ounces - mozzarella
- ¾ cup - heavy cream
- 6 - lasagna sheets
- 1 tsp - salt
- 1 tsp - black pepper
- 1 tsp - garlic powder
- 1 tsp - paprika
- 1 tsp - ground cumin
- 1 tsp - curry powder
- 1 tsp - basil
- 1 tsp - oregano
- 1 tsp - MSG
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat a drizzle of oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Add the garlic and ground beef, cooking until browned.
- Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute to enhance the flavor. Add tomato puree, all seasonings, and broth. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Break the lasagna sheets into smaller pieces and add them directly into the pot. Simmer for about 10–12 minutes until the noodles are tender. Stir occasionally so they don’t stick.
- Lower the heat and stir in the cream cheese, heavy cream, and mozzarella. Mix until melted and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Ladle the soup into bowls, sprinkle with a bit more mozzarella or basil on top, and enjoy warm.
