Instructions
1
|
Combine Oreos and butter. Bring the whipping cream to a boil. Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate. Stir until thoroughly melted. Let cool slightly.
2
|
Cream peanut butter and cream cheese. Beat in powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in cool whip.
3
|
Combine Oreos and butter.
4
|
Once you have all of the components ready, start layering the parfait. Press about 1/4 cup of cookie mixture into the bottom of each glass. Spoon in a layer of peanut butter filling.
5
|
Add a thin layer of chocolate ganache. As an added treat, I added crushed peanut butter cups next. Add another layer of peanut butter filling and chocolate ganache.
6
|
Top with a layer of whipped topping and sprinkle crushed peanut butter cups on top for a garnish.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Crush Oreos Strategically 🍪Pulse Oreos in a food processor until they resemble coarse sand rather than fine crumbs—this creates better texture variation in layers and prevents a dense, compacted base.
- Chill Your Peanut Butter Mixture ❄️Refrigerate the peanut butter and cream cheese mixture for 20-30 minutes before layering to prevent it from mixing with other layers and to achieve clean, defined strata.
- Melt Chocolate Gently 🍫Use a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals to melt chocolate chips, stirring between each interval to prevent seizing and ensure silky, smooth chocolate layers.
- Use Quality Whipped Topping 🌬️For superior texture and stability, make fresh whipped cream from heavy whipping cream rather than using store-bought topping—it holds its structure longer and tastes richer.
- Assemble Just Before Serving 🕐Prepare individual parfaits no more than 2-3 hours before serving to keep layers distinct and prevent the Oreo crust from absorbing moisture and becoming soggy.
