Tips & Tricks (5)
- Butter Your Bread Generously 🧈Apply butter evenly on both the outside and inside surfaces of the bread before assembly to ensure even golden browning and better cheese melting throughout the roll-up.
- Pre-warm Your Sauce 🍅Gently warm your marinara sauce before spreading to help it distribute evenly and reduce sogginess by allowing better adhesion to the bread without excess moisture.
- Cheese Placement Strategy 🧀Layer the mozzarella stick in the center with pepperoni slightly overlapping it, then fold the bread edges inward to create a secure seal that prevents cheese from leaking during cooking.
- Use Medium Heat for Even Cooking 🔥Cook on medium heat rather than high to allow the bread to turn golden-brown while giving the cheese enough time to melt completely without burning the exterior.
- Press and Hold Before Flipping ⏱️Press gently on each roll-up for 30-45 seconds after placing it in the pan to help seal the bread edges and promote even contact with the skillet for uniform browning.
