Tips & Tricks (5)
- Toast Pretzels First 🔥Lightly toast pretzel snaps in a 300°F oven for 2-3 minutes before adding Rolos to enhance their crunch and prevent sogginess from the melting chocolate.
- Perfectly Melted Rolos ⏱️Remove the bites from the oven when Rolos are just barely melted (they should still hold their shape slightly), as they continue to soften as they cool for the ideal chewy texture.
- Press Pecans at Peak Heat 💪Add pecan halves immediately after removing from the oven while the chocolate is still warm enough to adhere them, ensuring they stay firmly in place rather than sliding off.
- Parchment Paper Guarantee 📄Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup effortless—the pretzels won't slide around during the baking process.
- Cool Completely Before Serving ❄️Allow bites to cool for at least 10 minutes at room temperature (or refrigerate for 5 minutes) so the caramel sets and the treat becomes perfectly chewy without the chocolate being greasy.
