Instructions
1
First, start by pouring salt onto a small plate that is slightly larger than the top of your glass.
2
Next, take a small piece of lime and rub the wet edge along half of the rim of your glass.
3
Then dip the top of the glass into the salt at a 45-degree angle and gently roll it from side to side to ensure the salt sticks.
4
Next, add ice cubes to your glass and set it aside.
5
Then in a separate cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine silver tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice, Italian soda, sparkling water, and light agave nectar.
6
Now, put on the lid and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
7
Finally, strain the liquid into your glass and garnish with a slice of lime or lime wedge.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Freeze Your Glassware ❄️Pre-chill your margarita glasses in the freezer for at least 15 minutes before serving to keep your drink colder longer and prevent dilution from melting ice.
- Fresh-Squeezed Lime is Non-Negotiable 🍋Always use freshly squeezed lime juice rather than bottled; the bright acidity is crucial for a skinny margarita's signature tang and cannot be replicated with preserved juices.
- Salt Rim Application Technique 🧂Wet only the outer rim of your glass with a lime wedge and dip into salt at a 45-degree angle, coating just the outside edge to prevent salt from overwhelming each sip.
- Proper Shake Duration Matters 🥃Shake vigorously for a full 10-15 seconds with plenty of ice to properly chill and dilute the drink slightly, which balances the tequila's intensity and enhances the citrus flavors.
- Agave Nectar Dissolution Secret 🍯Dissolve light agave nectar in a small amount of warm water before adding to the shaker, ensuring it mixes evenly throughout instead of settling at the bottom of your drink.
