Instructions
1
Place the 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar on a plate. Wet the rim of (2) martini glasses with water and dip the rims of the glasses in the sugar. Set aside.
2
Remove the stems from the strawberries, then slice them and place in a small bowl. Muddle them until all the juice has been released, then place in a mesh strainer over a bowl and strain well. Discard the solids. You'll have roughly 2-3 tablespoons of strawberry juice depending on how juicy your strawberries are. Feel free to use more strawberries for extra strawberry flavor!
3
Place the strawberry juice, vodka, lemon juice, Cointreau and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Add about 4 ice cubes and secure the lid. Shake for roughly 30 seconds until the cocktail is cold, then strain into the prepared cocktail glasses. Garnish with strawberry and lemon if desired and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Freeze Strawberries for Perfect Texture 🍓Freeze fresh strawberries for at least 2 hours before muddling to achieve a silky texture that releases maximum flavor without creating watery pulp in your cocktail.
- Fresh Lemon Juice is Non-Negotiable 🍋Always use freshly squeezed lemon juice rather than bottled; squeeze immediately before mixing to preserve the bright acidity that balances the sweetness and defines this drink's signature tartness.
- Sugar Rim Technique for Elegance ✨Wet the martini glass rim with fresh lemon juice first, then dip into fine granulated sugar mixed with a pinch of freeze-dried strawberry powder for a professional appearance and enhanced flavor on every sip.
- Chill Everything Thoroughly ❄️Pre-chill your martini glasses in the freezer for 15 minutes and shake all ingredients vigorously with ice for at least 15 seconds to achieve the perfect silky texture and ideal serving temperature.
- Cointreau-to-Vodka Ratio Matters 🥃Use a 1:2 ratio of Cointreau to vodka to ensure the orange liqueur's subtle complexity enhances rather than overpowers the strawberry and lemon flavors for balanced sophistication.
