Ingredients
- 1 cup - water
- 1 cup - granulated sugar
- 2 cups - strawberries
- 1 bunch - fresh mint
- 1 cup - fresh lemon juice
- 4 cups - water
- 1 batch - Strawberry Mint Simple Syrup
- Ice
Instructions
- Combine water, sugar, and strawberries in a saucepan and cook over medium heat. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. If the syrup starts to bubble, reduce the heat to low.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the mint. Cover the pot and let the mint steep in the pot for 20 minutes so that it flavors the syrup.
- Strain the syrup and let it cool.
- In a large pitcher combine lemon juice, water, and the Strawberry Mint Simple Syrup.
- Serve over ice and enjoy!
