Tips & Tricks (5)
- Master Cold Brew Concentration 🧊Make cold brew concentrate with a 1:4 coffee-to-water ratio and steep for 12-24 hours; stronger concentrate creates a bolder, more balanced martini without dilution from melting ice.
- Pre-Chill Your Glassware ❄️Freeze your martini glasses for at least 2 hours before serving to keep the cocktail cold longer and prevent rapid dilution that compromises the delicate coffee flavor balance.
- Perfect the Coffee-to-Liqueur Ratio ⚖️Use a 2:1 ratio of cold brew concentrate to coffee liqueur to avoid excessive sweetness while maintaining the rich coffee essence that defines this cocktail.
- Proper Shaking Technique 🍹Shake vigorously with ice for exactly 10-12 seconds to properly chill and integrate the ingredients without over-aerating, which can create unwanted bitterness from over-oxidized coffee compounds.
- Garnish with Coffee Bean Finesse 🫘Float three espresso beans on top of the cocktail as a traditional garnish—they add visual appeal and subtle aromatic complexity when sipped.
