Instructions
1
|
Preheat the oven to 250°F (121°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
2
|
Then, pour the corn cereal, peanuts, pretzel chips, cheese crackers, oyster crackers, and mini cheese cracker sandwiches on the prepared sheet pan. Mix together.
3
|
Next, add the butter to a small saucepan. Melt the butter over medium low heat. Or, add the butter to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave the butter for 30 seconds at a time, until melted.
4
|
Pour the melted butter evenly over the snack mix. Then, sprinkle half of the spicy ranch seasoning over the snack mix. Gently stir until the crackers are evenly coated in the seasoning. Try a cracker or two and add more spicy ranch seasoning and Kosher salt, to taste.
5
|
Bake the snack mix for 20-25 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the crackers are dry to the touch and crisp. Right out of the oven, add the white cheddar popcorn and gently stir the snack mix to combine. The residual heat will help any loose seasoning stick to the popcorn.
6
|
Let the snack mix cool completely. Then, store the cooled mix in an airtight container or zipper bag. Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Butter Infusion Method 🧈Melt butter over medium-low heat and toast your ranch seasoning in it for 1-2 minutes before tossing with mix to bloom the spices and intensify their flavors exponentially.
- Dry Your Ingredients First 🏜️Spread all crackers, pretzels, and popcorn on paper towels for 5 minutes to remove excess moisture, ensuring the butter and seasoning coat evenly without clumping.
- Toast for Extra Crunch 🔥After tossing, spread the mix on a baking sheet and bake at 250°F for 8-10 minutes, stirring halfway through, to dehydrate and amplify the crispness of every component.
- Layered Seasoning Balance ⚖️Reserve some dry ranch seasoning to sprinkle over the warm mix after toasting—this creates concentrated flavor pockets and prevents the spice from getting muted during cooking.
- Cool Before Storage ❄️Let the mix cool completely on the baking sheet for at least 15 minutes before storing in airtight containers to prevent steam from making it soggy and maintaining that signature crunch.
