Instructions
1
|
Preheat the oven to 250°F (121°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
2
|
Then, pour the corn cereal, peanuts, pretzel chips, cheese crackers, oyster crackers, and mini cheese cracker sandwiches on the prepared sheet pan. Mix together.
3
|
Next, add the butter to a small saucepan. Melt the butter over medium low heat. Or, add the butter to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave the butter for 30 seconds at a time, until melted.
4
|
Pour the melted butter evenly over the snack mix. Then, sprinkle half of the spicy ranch seasoning over the snack mix. Gently stir until the crackers are evenly coated in the seasoning. Try a cracker or two and add more spicy ranch seasoning and Kosher salt, to taste.
5
|
Bake the snack mix for 20-25 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the crackers are dry to the touch and crisp. Right out of the oven, add the white cheddar popcorn and gently stir the snack mix to combine. The residual heat will help any loose seasoning stick to the popcorn.
6
|
Let the snack mix cool completely. Then, store the cooled mix in an airtight container or zipper bag. Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Butter Temperature Control 🧈Melt butter over medium-low heat and let it cool slightly before tossing with seasonings to prevent the ranch seasoning from burning and ensure even flavor distribution across all mix components.
- Toast Your Mix First 🔥Spread the dry ingredients on a baking sheet and toast at 300°F for 3-5 minutes before tossing with butter and seasonings to enhance their natural flavors and add depth to the final snack.
- Layering Technique for Even Coating 🎯Toss ingredients in batches rather than all at once, ensuring each component gets evenly coated with the buttery ranch mixture for consistent flavor in every handful.
- Spice Heat Customization 🌶️Add cayenne pepper and hot paprika separately after the initial ranch coating so you can taste-test and adjust the spice level to your preference without over-seasoning the entire batch.
- Cool Before Storage ❄️Allow the snack mix to cool completely on the baking sheet for at least 15 minutes before storing in airtight containers; this prevents steam from making it soggy and keeps it crispy for up to 5 days.
