  • 1 lb - green beans
  • 1 cup - vegetable stock
  • 3 tablespoons - ghee
  • ¾ tsp - kosher salt
  • ½ tsp - black pepper
  • 5 cloves - garlic
  • 1 tbsp - lemon zest

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add vegetable stock and bring to a simmer.
  2. Add green beans, spread evenly in the skillet and cover with a lid. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Remove lid and drain off the remaining vegetable stock. Add in ghee, minced garlic, and salt and pepper. Use tongs to stir and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes, until green beans are just tender.
  4. Zest a lemon onto the green beans and serve.
