Tips & Tricks (5)
- Sift Your Powdered Sugar 🎯Always sift powdered sugar before mixing to eliminate lumps and create a silky-smooth glaze with no grittiness, ensuring professional results every time.
- Room Temperature Milk Method 🥛Use room temperature whole milk instead of cold milk to achieve the perfect consistency immediately without over-whisking, which can make the glaze too thin.
- Vanilla Bean Paste Equilibrium ✨Start with 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla bean paste and adjust gradually—the specks provide both flavor and visual appeal, so a little goes a long way.
- Consistency Testing Trick 🧪Dip a spoon into the glaze and let it drip back into the bowl; the glaze should flow slowly and coat the spoon with a thin layer for ideal drizzling consistency.
- Apply to Warm Baked Goods 🌡️Glaze warm (not hot) pastries and baked goods within 5-10 minutes of cooling so the glaze sets into a delicate coating rather than sliding off completely.
