Ingredients
- ¼ cup - whole grain mustard
- ½ tsp - garlic powder
- ¼ cup - honey
- 2 teaspoons - extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 - boneless skinless chicken breasts
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the mustard, honey, garlic powder, and olive oil in a medium mixing bowl or shallow baking dish. Stir until uniformly mixed.
- Place the chicken breasts one at a time in the honey-mustard mixture, turning to coat. Arrange the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake on middle rack of oven until the thickest part of the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, about 15 minutes.
- Check to see that chicken is done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
- Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
