Tips & Tricks (5)

  • Keep Butter Ice-Cold ❄️
Cut cold butter into small cubes and keep it refrigerated until the last moment before mixing—this creates steam pockets that produce flaky, tender layers in your biscuits.
  • Don't Overwork the Dough 🙌
Mix ingredients until just combined—overworking develops gluten and creates tough, dense biscuits instead of light and fluffy ones.
  • Preheat Your Air Fryer 🌡️
Run your air fryer at 400°F for 3-5 minutes before adding biscuits to ensure even browning and a golden exterior from the moment they hit the basket.
  • Brush with Butter After Cooking 🧈
Immediately brush warm biscuits with melted butter right after air frying to enhance flavor, create a glossy finish, and add richness that elevates them above store-bought versions.
  • Use Room Temperature Buttermilk 🥛
Let buttermilk sit out 15 minutes before mixing—room temperature liquid incorporates better and creates a more tender crumb than cold buttermilk.
