Tips & Tricks (5)
- Keep Butter Ice-Cold âď¸Cut cold butter into small cubes and keep it refrigerated until the last moment before mixingâthis creates steam pockets that produce flaky, tender layers in your biscuits.
- Don't Overwork the Dough đMix ingredients until just combinedâoverworking develops gluten and creates tough, dense biscuits instead of light and fluffy ones.
- Preheat Your Air Fryer đĄď¸Run your air fryer at 400°F for 3-5 minutes before adding biscuits to ensure even browning and a golden exterior from the moment they hit the basket.
- Brush with Butter After Cooking đ§Immediately brush warm biscuits with melted butter right after air frying to enhance flavor, create a glossy finish, and add richness that elevates them above store-bought versions.
- Use Room Temperature Buttermilk đĽLet buttermilk sit out 15 minutes before mixingâroom temperature liquid incorporates better and creates a more tender crumb than cold buttermilk.
