Instructions
1
|
Preheat air-fryer to 400℉.
2
|
Place flour in a large bowl and season well with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Add the water and stir to form a batter to coat your cauliflower.
3
|
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter and then shake off the excess batter before placing the coated cauliflower floret into the air fryer. Repeat with all cauliflower florets.
4
|
Add the oil to your air-fryer, however your model requires. Air fry the cauliflower for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
5
|
Meanwhile, combine the buffalo sauce, butter and honey together in a saucepan and set over medium heat. Stir occasionally, warming just until the butter and honey are melted and incorporated into the sauce, about 4 minutes.
6
|
Brush the buffalo sauce mixture over each cauliflower floret and then air-fry for an additional 5 minutes.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pat Cauliflower Completely Dry 💧Use paper towels to thoroughly dry each cauliflower floret before coating; excess moisture prevents crispiness and causes steam buildup in the air fryer.
- Create a Flour Coating Barrier 🍂Lightly dust cauliflower with all-purpose flour mixed with salt and pepper before the wet coating; this creates an extra-crispy exterior that holds sauce better.
- Don't Skip the Preheat 🔥Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes to ensure immediate crisping when florets hit the basket, preventing soggy interiors.
- Apply Sauce in Two Stages 🍯Toss half the buffalo sauce mixture halfway through cooking and the remaining half in the final 2 minutes; this prevents sogginess while building layered flavor.
- Use Oil Spray for Even Crispness 🎯Lightly spray the coated cauliflower with cooking oil before air frying rather than tossing in oil; this ensures even, consistent browning without excess grease.
