Instructions

Instructions

1
|
Preheat air-fryer to 400℉.
2
|
Place flour in a large bowl and season well with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Add the water and stir to form a batter to coat your cauliflower.
3
|
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter and then shake off the excess batter before placing the coated cauliflower floret into the air fryer. Repeat with all cauliflower florets.
4
|
Add the oil to your air-fryer, however your model requires. Air fry the cauliflower for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
5
|
Meanwhile, combine the buffalo sauce, butter and honey together in a saucepan and set over medium heat. Stir occasionally, warming just until the butter and honey are melted and incorporated into the sauce, about 4 minutes.
6
|
Brush the buffalo sauce mixture over each cauliflower floret and then air-fry for an additional 5 minutes.

Tips & Tricks (5)

  • Pat Dry for Maximum Crispiness 🌊
Pat the cauliflower florets completely dry with paper towels before coating—moisture is the enemy of crispiness in air fryers, and this step makes the difference between soggy and perfectly crispy wings.
  • Double-Coat for Extra Texture 🥄
After your initial flour coating, lightly mist with cooking oil, then dip back into the flour mixture for a second layer—this creates an ultra-crispy exterior that rivals traditional deep-fried wings.
  • Sauce After Cooking, Not Before 🔥
Wait until the cauliflower wings finish cooking before tossing with the buffalo-honey butter sauce to prevent the coating from becoming soggy and losing its crispy texture.
  • Use the Basket Correctly 📦
Arrange cauliflower in a single layer without crowding—leaving space between florets allows hot air to circulate properly, ensuring even crispiness on all sides in just 15-18 minutes.
  • Warm Your Sauce for Better Coating 🔆
Gently heat your buffalo-honey butter sauce before tossing to ensure it coats evenly and adheres better to the crispy cauliflower without cooling down the wings.
