1

2
Cut each chicken breast into 2 pieces.
3
Place the chicken back in the bag. Add pickle juice and water and allow to marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
4
Whisk the egg and milk together.
5
In a separate bowl, mix together your dry ingredients: flour, corn starch, powdered sugar and spices.
6
Coat the chicken in the egg mixture, then the flour mixture, making sure the entire piece of chicken is fully coated.
7
Spray your air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray.
8
Place your chicken in the air fryer basket. Arrange chicken so that it's not touching. You might have to work in batches depending on the size of your Air Fryer. Spray the chicken with cooking spray.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pickle Juice Marinade Timing ⏱️Marinate chicken breasts in dill pickle juice for at least 4-8 hours (or overnight) to achieve maximum tenderness and that signature tangy flavor that mimics Chick-fil-A's signature taste.
- The Cornstarch Coating Secret ✨Mix cornstarch with your flour blend and let the breaded chicken rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before air-frying to create an extra crispy, golden exterior that rivals the original.
- Air Fryer Temperature Precision 🌡️Set your air fryer to 380°F and cook for 12-14 minutes, flipping halfway through—this exact temperature ensures the coating crisps perfectly while keeping the interior juicy without burning.
- Brioche Bun Toasting Technique 🍞Lightly butter and toast your brioche buns in the air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes to add a subtle golden crunch that prevents sogginess from the sauce and pickles.
- Sauce and Pickle Layering Order 🎯Place sauce on the bottom bun first, then the chicken, then pickles on top—this prevents the bun from absorbing too much moisture while keeping all flavors balanced and the sandwich structurally sound.
