Tips & Tricks (5)
- Slice Strategically for Even Cooking 🔪Cut slits three-quarters of the way through the potato without separating the bottom layer, ensuring even heat penetration and uniform crispy edges while keeping the potato intact.
- Dry Your Potatoes Thoroughly 💧Pat potatoes completely dry with paper towels before air frying to maximize crispiness on the outside, as excess moisture prevents proper browning and texture development.
- Infuse Butter Between Slices 🧈Use a pastry brush to work seasoned butter mixture directly into the slits before cooking, allowing flavors to penetrate deeply and create a rich, golden exterior.
- Flip Halfway Through for Optimal Crispiness 🔄Turn potatoes halfway through the cooking time to ensure all sides develop an even, golden-brown crust and prevent any soggy spots from forming.
- Add Fresh Parsley at the End ✨Sprinkle fresh parsley immediately after air frying while potatoes are still hot to preserve its vibrant color and fresh flavor, avoiding any wilting from prolonged heat exposure.
