Air Fryer Mushrooms are so much easier and healthier to make than sautéed mushrooms, which takes a lot more effort and uses more oil. Plus there is something satisfying about cooking fungi this way. This Air Fryer Mushrooms recipe is the perfect side or topper to any main dish. They have a nice crisp outside, yet are soft and tender on the inside. Mushrooms in the air fryer won’t disappoint. A perfect main dish, enhancer for pasta or a wonderful topper for a beautifully cooked steak.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb - mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp - olive oil
  • ⅓ tsp - salt
  • ⅓ tsp - white pepper
  • ⅓ tsp - granulated garlic
  • ⅓ tsp - paprika
  • ⅓ tsp - dried herbs

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating the air fryer to 390F degrees.
  2. Clean mushrooms either by rinsing with water or wiping down with a damp paper towel. Cut each mushrooms into 2-4 slices. Transfer sliced mushrooms to a large bowl.
  3. To the bowl of sliced mushrooms add salt, white pepper, garlic, paprika, dried herbs, and olive oil. Mix until evenly coated.
  4. Add the mushrooms in the air fryer basket, try your best to spread into a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes.
  5. About 5 minutes in you will want to shake the air fryer basket to move around the mushrooms. Cook for 5 more minutes. If necessary add for 3 additional minutes.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and transfer to a serving bowl.
