Instructions

1
|
Preheat the air fryer to 380℉.
2
|
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and garlic.
3
|
Cut the stick of butter in small, pea size cubes.
4
|
Using a stand mixer or blender, mix the butter into the dry flour mixture until butter crumbles form.
5
|
Stir in cheese and parsley.
6
|
Using your hands or stirring paddle for stand mixer, mix in the buttermilk. Do not over knead the batter; you want it firm enough to form into a mound but not too firm.
7
|
Spray the air fryer basket with oil and using an ice cream scoop, spoon out a clump of batter and place in air fryer basket. Repeat to fill your basket.
8
|
Spray biscuits and cook in the preheated fryer for 5 minutes. Turn and cook for 2 more minutes
9
|
Stir the garlic powder into the melted butter and brush over top of the baked biscuits.

Tips & Tricks (5)

  • Chill Dough Before Air Frying 🧊
Refrigerate your biscuit dough for at least 30 minutes before air frying to prevent spreading and ensure fluffy, tall biscuits with a tender crumb structure.
  • Brush Butter at the Right Time 🧈
Apply the garlic-herb butter immediately after the biscuits come out of the air fryer while they're still hot, allowing it to melt and absorb for maximum flavor impact.
  • Don't Overmix the Dough ✋
Mix your dry ingredients and buttermilk just until combined—overmixing develops gluten and creates tough, dense biscuits instead of the light, fluffy texture Red Lobster is known for.
  • Use Room Temperature Buttermilk 🌡️
Warm your buttermilk to room temperature before mixing to ensure even distribution and proper rising in the air fryer, resulting in consistent biscuit texture throughout.
  • Layer Extra Cheese Strategically 🧀
Reserve some shredded cheddar to sprinkle on top of biscuits before air frying so it melts into a golden, crispy cheese layer that mimics the restaurant version perfectly.
