Alabama Fire Crackers are super easy to make and totally addictive! Just toss some crackers in a ziplock bag with a spicy oil mixture, let 'em hang out overnight, and boom – you've got yourself a crunchy, flavorful snack.

Ingredients

  • ¾ tsp - Garlic Powder
  • ¾ tsp - Onion Powder
  • ¾ tsp - Chili Powder
  • ½ tsp - Ground Black Pepper
  • ¼ tsp - Ground Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons - Dry Ranch Dressing Mix
  • ⅔ cups - Vegetable Oil
  • 1 box - Club Crackers

Instructions

  1. Place Club crackers in a gallon size ziptop plastic bag. Move the crackers around to make as much space between them as possible.
  2. In a small bowl, add all dry ingredients and whisk to combine.
  3. Add the vegetable oil to the dry ingredients and whisk thoroughly.
  4. Pour the spice and oil mixture over the crackers in the bag.
  5. Seal the bag with a lot of air and rotate by the corners until the crackers appear coated. Flip the bag side to side several times as well.
  6. For the rest of the day, rotate and flip the bag every hour or so.
  7. Let stand in the bag overnight for best results.
