Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pasta Water Magic 💧Always reserve 1 cup of starchy pasta water before draining, as it helps create a silkier, more emulsified Alfredo sauce that clings perfectly to the pasta.
- Garlic Bloom Technique 🧄Gently sauté minced garlic in butter over low heat until just fragrant, being careful not to brown it, to release maximum flavor without bitterness.
- Cheese Layering Trick 🧀Mix half the Parmesan and mozzarella into the sauce, then sprinkle the remaining cheese on top before baking for a perfect golden, crispy cheese crust.
- Cream Temperature Hack 🥛Let heavy cream come to room temperature before adding to the sauce to prevent curdling and ensure a smooth, consistent texture.
- Baking Dish Strategy 🥘Use a ceramic or cast-iron baking dish for more even heat distribution and a beautifully browned top, and preheat the dish for an extra crispy finish.
