- Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water and drain.
- Step 3
In a large skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Step 4
Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Step 5
Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. Stir until melted and sauce is creamy.
- Step 6
Add cooked pasta and reserved pasta water. Mix until fully coated in the sauce.
- Step 7
Transfer pasta to a baking dish. Top with more mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Step 8
Bake for 15–20 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly. Serve hot.
