To make this cocktail for a crowd, just multiply the recipe by however many people you are serving. Right before you are ready to serve, mix together the apple cider and bourbon in a pitcher. Gently stir in the ginger beer, lime juice, and ginger bitters. Serve over ice. Enjoy!

This apple cider bourbon recipe was insanely good. I was planning on making this for our Friendsgiving party soon and this test batch proved it’s the way to go! 🙌

My Notes
Your kitchen notebook is waiting.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Chill Your Glassware 🧊Pre-chill your glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving to keep the cocktail cold longer and prevent dilution from melting ice.
- Fresh Cider Temperature Matters 🍎Gently warm your fresh apple cider to 140-160°F before mixing to infuse the cinnamon and cardamom bitters more effectively, then cool before adding ginger beer.
- Toast Your Cinnamon Stick 🌶️Lightly toast your cinnamon stick in a dry pan for 30 seconds before adding to the cider to intensify its warm spice notes and create deeper flavor complexity.
- Batch Prep Secret 🥃Pre-mix the bourbon, apple cider, lime juice, and bitters in a large pitcher up to 4 hours ahead, then add ginger beer just before serving to maintain carbonation and freshness.
- Lime Juice Freshness 🍋Always use freshly squeezed lime juice rather than bottled—the bright acidity balances the sweetness of cider and prevents the cocktail from becoming cloying.
