To make this cocktail for a crowd, just multiply the recipe by however many people you are serving. Right before you are ready to serve, mix together the apple cider and bourbon in a pitcher. Gently stir in the ginger beer, lime juice, and ginger bitters. Serve over ice. Enjoy!

This apple cider bourbon recipe was insanely good. I was planning on making this for our Friendsgiving party soon and this test batch proved it’s the way to go! 🙌

My Notes
Your kitchen notebook is waiting.
Whether it's a recipe tweak or an inspiration burst — jot it down here.
Tips & Tricks (5)
- Fresh Cider Magic 🍎Always use fresh, unfiltered apple cider for the most robust flavor - avoid clear, processed ciders which lack depth and complexity.
- Bourbon Balance 🥃Choose a mid-range bourbon with subtle caramel notes that won't overpower the delicate apple and ginger flavors - avoid extremely smoky or high-proof varieties.
- Bitters Brilliance 💧Use high-quality cardamom bitters and add them incrementally, tasting as you go to achieve the perfect spice balance without overwhelming the cocktail.
- Ice Technique 🧊Use large, slow-melting ice cubes to prevent over-dilution and maintain the cocktail's intense flavor profile while keeping it perfectly chilled.
- Batch Prep Pro 🍸When batching for a crowd, mix everything except the ginger beer in advance and add the fizzy ginger beer just before serving to maintain carbonation and freshness.
