Ingredients

  • 2 ounces - bourbon or rye whiskey
  • 1 tsp - brown sugar
  • 3 dashes - Angostura bitters
  • 2 ounces - apple cider
  • orange twist
  • apple slices

Instructions

  1. In a rocks glass, add 1 teaspoon brown sugar, 3 dashes Angostura bitters and 2 ounces apple cider. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add a large cube to the glass. Pour over 2 ounces of bourbon or rye whiskey and stir with a cocktail spoon.
  3. Garnish with an orange twist and apple slices. Serve.
