Ingredients

  • 1 - Apple
  • 1 tbsp - Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons - brown sugar
  • 1 ½ cups - Whole Milk
  • 1 ½ cups - Apple Cider
  • 1 ½ cups - Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 pinch - Salt
  • ½ tsp - Pumpkin Pie Spice

Instructions

  1. Place apples, lemon juice and brown sugar into a microwave safe bowl.
  2. Microwave on high for four minutes.
  3. In the meantime, add cider and milk to a large saucepan on medium-high heat.
  4. Stir in oats and salt.
  5. Cook oats over medium-high heat, stirring periodically, for about 5-6 minutes, or until oats soften.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in Pumpkin Pie Spice blend and warm apple mixture.
  7. Serve immediately.
