Instructions
1

Hang the tea bag in a small pot, pour hot water over it and let it steep for 5 minutes.
2
|
Meanwhile, thoroughly wash the orange and peel off about half of the zest using a vegetable peeler or a knife. Try to avoid the white pith, as it contains many bitter substances.
3
|
After five minutes, remove the tea bags and add apple juice, orange peel, cinnamon stick, and cloves to the tea. Heat the apple punch over medium heat and let it steep for 10 minutes.
4
|
Remove the pot from the heat, discard the spices and orange peel. Divide the punch among four cups and garnish with apple slices and cinnamon sticks; serve hot.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Spice Infusion Technique 🌿Gently crush the cinnamon sticks and whole cloves before adding to release their maximum aromatic oils and enhance the punch's depth of flavor.
- Fresh Citrus Zest Hack 🍊When using the organic orange, first zest the peel before juicing to capture additional essential oils that will boost the punch's complexity.
- Low-Sugar Pro Tip 🍏Choose a high-quality, naturally sweet apple tea to reduce added sugars while maintaining a rich, full-bodied flavor profile.
- Temperature Control Magic 🌡️Use boiling water and steep the spices for exactly 10-12 minutes to extract optimal flavor without creating bitter undertones.
- Adult Version Upgrade 🥃For the alcoholic version, choose a high-quality rum or vodka and add it just before serving to preserve the punch's delicate spice notes.
