Ingredients

  • ¼ cup - Brown sugar
  • ½ cup - Ketchup
  • ½ cup - Reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup - Sherry or chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons - Fresh ginger root
  • 1 tsp - Garlic
  • 2 pounds - Boneless skinless chicken thighs

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the first six ingredients. Reserve 1 cup for basting; cover and refrigerate. Pour remaining marinade over chicken, making sure it is completely covered. Refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  2. Grill chicken until no longer pink, basting with reserved marinade during the last 5 minutes.
