Tips & Tricks (5)
- Dry Your Shrimp Thoroughly 🦐Pat shrimp completely dry with paper towels before cooking to ensure proper browning and prevent the butter sauce from becoming watery during the sauté.
- Toast Garlic Separately 🧄Slice garlic thinly and toast it in butter for 30-45 seconds before adding shrimp to develop deeper flavor and prevent bitter, burnt garlic that overpowers the dish.
- Don't Overcrowd the Pan 🍳Cook shrimp in a single layer without crowding; they'll steam instead of sear if packed too tightly, resulting in rubbery texture rather than a golden, caramelized exterior.
- Finish with Cold Butter Emulsion 🧈Remove from heat and whisk in an extra pat of cold butter at the end to create a silky, emulsified sauce that clings beautifully to the shrimp and pasta.
- Add Parsley at the Very End ✨Stir in fresh parsley only after plating to preserve its vibrant color, fresh aroma, and delicate flavor rather than wilting it in residual heat.
