Tips & Tricks (5)
- Room Temperature Goat Cheese 🧀Remove goat cheese from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking to ensure it softens evenly and creates a creamy, luxurious texture throughout the dip.
- Infuse Your Olive Oil 🫒Gently warm your olive oil with minced garlic, sage, and thyme for 2-3 minutes before adding to the dip to maximize flavor extraction and create a more complex, aromatic base.
- Layer Your Cheeses Strategically 🎯Spread half the goat cheese on the bottom, add your herb-infused oil and seasonings, then top with remaining goat cheese and parmesan to ensure even distribution and a beautiful golden top.
- Watch for the Perfect Bubble Point ⏱️Bake until small bubbles just begin to form around the edges (about 12-15 minutes at 350°F) rather than waiting for heavy bubbling, which indicates the cheese is beginning to separate and lose its creamy structure.
- Toast Your Chips Properly 🥒Make homemade toasted baguette chips by brushing thin slices with olive oil and baking at 375°F for 8-10 minutes until golden—this creates superior crunch and flavor compared to store-bought options.
