Preheat oven to 180°C fan-forced (200°C top/bottom heat).

Peel the sweet potato and mash it in a bowl with a fork or similar utensil. Stir in the egg, cinnamon, salt, and syrup, then fold in the rolled oats, baking powder, and raisins.

Grease a baking dish with a little rapeseed oil or baking spray, pour in the batter and smooth it out. Distribute the nuts evenly over the surface, and sprinkle with cinnamon or fleur de sel if desired.

Bake the casserole for 20 minutes at 180°C fan-forced, then let it cool.
