Tips & Tricks (5)
- Banana Ripeness Magic 🍌Use overripe bananas with black spots for maximum sweetness and moisture in your cake - the darker and softer, the better the flavor!
- Frosting Consistency Control 🥄Bring peanut butter and butter to room temperature before mixing to ensure a smooth, creamy frosting without lumps.
- Moisture Preservation Technique 💦Cover the cake with plastic wrap or a cake dome immediately after cooling to lock in moisture and prevent the cake from drying out.
- Ingredient Activation Hack 🥣Combine baking soda and baking powder with the wet ingredients first to activate their leavening properties and ensure maximum rise.
- Frosting Application Pro Tip 🧁Chill the cake for 15-20 minutes before frosting to create a stable surface that prevents crumbs from mixing into the peanut butter frosting.
