Instructions

In a large skillet over medium high heat, add the ground beef, diced onions and All Purpose Seasoning. Cook and crumble the beef with a spoon for 6-7 minutes or until the beef is no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat.

Meanwhile, whisk together all of the ingredients for the dressing in a bowl. If the mixture is too thick for your liking, you can thin it out by adding a teaspoon of water. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
3

Add the chopped lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese and diced pickles to a large bowl.
4
|
Top with the ground beef mixture.
5
|
Drizzle the dressing over the salad and top with sesame seeds

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Master the Special Sauce Balance 🎯Mix your special sauce ingredients (mayo, mustard, relish, vinegar, honey) in a 3:1:1:0.5:0.5 ratio by volume, then taste and adjust—the honey balances acidity while the vinegar cuts through richness for authentic Big Mac flavor.
- Season Beef with Precision 🧂Combine paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and all-purpose seasoning in a small bowl before browning the ground beef, ensuring even distribution and preventing flavor clumping for consistent taste throughout.
- Chill Your Lettuce and Cheese 🧊Pre-chill your iceberg lettuce and cheddar cheese for at least 30 minutes before assembly—this prevents them from wilting when the warm beef is added and keeps textures crisp and fresh.
- Toast Sesame Seeds for Maximum Flavor 🔥Lightly toast your sesame seeds in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes before garnishing to unlock their nutty oils and intensify the authentic burger bun experience without any carbs.
- Layer Strategically for Flavor Layering 🥗Build your salad by placing lettuce first, then warm beef, then pickles and tomatoes, and finally dressing on top—this prevents sogginess while allowing flavors to meld without the vegetables releasing excess moisture.
