Ingredients
- 6 - Mint Leaves
- 2 ounces - White Rum
- 8 - Fresh Blueberries
- 2 ounces - Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
- 1 oz - Blueberry Simple Syrup
- 1 cup - Ice
- Fresh Lime Wedges and Wheels
Instructions
- Combine 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup frozen blueberries to a medium saucepan. Heat until mixture starts to boil and let boil for 5-6 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and strain mixture into a mixing bowl. Use a spoon to squeeze out all the extra juice from the blueberries.
- Add mint, blueberries, and lime juice into a shake cup. Use a muddler to mash the blueberries and release the oils from the mint.
- Add blueberry simple syrup, white rum, and ice to the shaker cup. Shake well until chilled.
- Pour into a cocktail glass. If desired, garnish with fresh blueberries, limes, and mint.
