Ingredients

  • 6 - Mint Leaves
  • 2 ounces - White Rum
  • 8 - Fresh Blueberries
  • 2 ounces - Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 1 oz - Blueberry Simple Syrup
  • 1 cup - Ice
  • Fresh Lime Wedges and Wheels

Instructions

  1. Combine 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup frozen blueberries to a medium saucepan. Heat until mixture starts to boil and let boil for 5-6 minutes.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and strain mixture into a mixing bowl. Use a spoon to squeeze out all the extra juice from the blueberries.
  3. Add mint, blueberries, and lime juice into a shake cup. Use a muddler to mash the blueberries and release the oils from the mint.
  4. Add blueberry simple syrup, white rum, and ice to the shaker cup. Shake well until chilled.
  5. Pour into a cocktail glass. If desired, garnish with fresh blueberries, limes, and mint.
